Relationship Between Social Work Students' Levels of Respect for Diversity and Gender Perceptions

Bu çalışma, sosyal hizmet öğrencilerinin farklılıklara saygı düzeyleri ile toplumsal cinsiyet algıları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amacını taşımaktadır. Nicel yöntemle yapılan araştırma sonucunda 4 üniversitede eğitim gören 346 öğrenciden veri toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda toplama aracı olarak anket uygulanmıştır. Söz konusu anket; araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan 21 soru, Öksüz Güven’in geliştirdiği 30 soruluk Farklılıklara Saygı Ölçeği ve Altınova Duyan’ın 25 Toplumsal Cinsiyet Algısı olmak üzere toplamda 76 sorudan oluşmuştur. Araştırma sonuçları incelendiğinde öğrencilerin Ölçeği'nden elde ettikleri x̄=130,968 x̄=114,075 yüksek düzeyde saygıyı algısını göstermektedir. Öğrencilerin iki ölçekten aldıkları puanlar arasında ,467'lik pozitif yönlü korelasyon vardır. Kadın düzeyi algısı anlamlı bir şekilde yüksektir. Ailesi 1501-3000 TL gelir düzeyine sahip gruptakilerin saygısı düşüktür. Geniş aile yapısına katılımcıların, 3 daha fazla kardeşi olan katılımcıların bölümünü kendi isteği seçmeyen
